There is a market for rock n roll memorabilia. Memorabilia tends to evoke images of autographs, new recordings or candid photographs.
The latest adult video, that will probably topple the Marilyn Monroe sex tape, will be the Jimi Hendrix sex video. The video depicts a man, resembling Hendrix, intimately engaging with two females.

"The 11 minutes of footage of a man resembling Hendrix cavorting with two unidentified brunettes in a dimly lit bedroom is packaged in a 45-minute DVD distributed by Los Angeles adult-film studio Vivid Entertainment."

The footage is said to have been shot forty years ago in a hotel room, and unearthed by a rock collector. The footage been authenticated by former groupie to the stars (including Jimi Hendrix), Pamela Des Barres, but there appears to be a dispute over the identity of the male in the film, with one former girlfriend pointing out flaws.
